India...was it ever backward??

INDIA: The Country of  diverse cultures and rich past.....Most of which was never known to the world.....

Today, the World populationv(including Indians) praises the USA, for the technological advancements, Germany  for the automobile and military advancements, European Union for the scientific research and so on. But did these countries and the scientists discover or invent the things that they did on their own?? Their probably might have.

But few did know that INDIANs....already knew much of these "technological" facts.  Here are a "few" examples i'd like to share:

1) It is well known to the world that Aryabhatta, the Indian mathemetician was the one who invented the "0"..So now,who is responsible for the world technology working??

2) All of us have studied that it was Galileo Galilei(1564 CE) who was the one who "Invented" the telescope...On the temple walls of Belur, Karnataka, among the other carvings, is a carving THAT VERY MUCH RESEMBLES the modern day  Telescope..and these walls bate back to 1117 CE.

3)Personal Human Filght: It is much awaited technology which is still in research.........In Vedantas , is a topic titled "Vimana shastra" in which is mentioned that "Combination of about 7 different metals creates a localized black hole alike which absorbs light".This was used in wars where the armies could escape  by just "Flying away". In Bengaluru, these metals are Identified and a Huge research is being carried on for find the optimum combination for the effect.

4)On the day of Ratha Saptami, one of the National festivals of India, celebrated at around January after the Sankranti to celebrate the Sun God , a Vedic Verse is recited which is :: "Sapta Sapta || Maha Spta || Sapta Dweepava Sundara|||| Saptarka vernamadaya|| saptami,Radha Saptami" Literally meaning :: "Seven oh great Seven....the beautiful  Seven Continents....Seven Rays' Colour collection.....seventh day the ratha saptami"

It means this "O'Sun,the god of light radiating a mixture of  7 colours to illuminate  the seven continents of the Earth "

The vedas date back to around 1500 BCE.It was then mentioned that there are 7 continents, 7 colours in white light and 7 days in a week.

5)Charaka,as very well known to the world, was the first ever person to have conducted Surgery in 300 BC

6) The YOGA: Indian Originated Physical fitness techniques were introduced at around 900-500 BCE

7) The Indian Music originating in the VEDAS in around 1500 BC mentioned the 7 notes in music..something the current Western Music follows

8) My personal favourite: The first ever METAL CASED ROCKETS  were used by Tippu Sultan against the English east india tradin Co. in 1792. These Rockets were reverse engineered by the British and Viola...The current day rockets..though the first rocket concept dates back to 500BC to chinese

9)The Large Hedron Collider..the latest asset of the CERN is celebrated by the World. But the Indians knew the concept of Sub Atomic Particles by the Name ANU (a-nou) and was named BRAHMA: The Ceater in the vedas

10) The Indian Astronomy is something which really needs to be appriciated: A Day has 23.56 hours this concept was mentioned in the vedas and thus with this number, A Person,on his 80th Birthday would have seen 1000 Full Moons  in his life time...Also,the mention of the Great Dipper constellaiton and Sapta Rishi is present in the Vedas

This list  keeps on going for all the technological advancements that ancient India had..All this and people term India as a "Backward Country"...Rpobably correct...all of this was "Behind" us......then why did most of these never come to light???    Well ask Your self!!      Have "we Indians" ever had the attitude to tell the world about our greatness? well one may say,we don't have to...But should that be the attitude when most of the "Developed Countries" literally look down on us??

Coming to the latest technology, almost every technology India has,Especially in the Defence and Space research Sector had been Indegeneously Developed,"WITHOUT" external help!! Do you still doubt the INDIAN CAPABILITIES?? Why then are we still not able to attain the "DEVELOPED" status when a small country like Japan could?? well,My personal answer would be "LACK OF ATTITUDE"....We over the time have developed the attitude of Mind my own Business to the extent that,We even forgot that we should have something called I should give back to my country for it to develop and I'd also include myself in this category to some extent

So the Change we need to have now: Don't wait for someone to take the initiative.YOU do it.rest will follow and Care for others by having Civic Sense and Social Responsibility

These THREE things,I feel are more than sufficient to take INDIA further and regain it's old Glory...

ME N MY COLLAGE LIFE

HEY POPLE!!!!
OCTOBER 1st.After a six weeks overhaul of life in The Californian city of Fremont,I entered the Keshav memorial Institute of Technology(KMIT),an institute under the guidance of a promising director who was a source of inspiration to all of us from day one and also an alumini of my school ..The Little Flower High School...Mr.Neil Gogte.
The insitute is good, offering us more than what others learn...teaching us java scripting, flex programming and java, embedded systems and iphone application development....Now,that was something really nice.I was happy that I was here rather than other big collage or NIT or BITS.We are almost equal to them in standards.
It was Diwali time.Celebrations were on and all the cousins had come and it was a terriffic moment for all.We were together after a long long time. And on 25th October ......Evening 5......I Bought my Bike....The Red Pulsar 150cc...I was soo damn excited..It was a boosting fuel to the Grande celebrations.......
Slowly,I got accoustomed to the environment there and the new friends I had made.
There is one particular friend whom I can never forget.Md.Adil.We met on the early morning of 27th of November....He too was the SPl of another Monfortian school in hyderabad. Now,we've formed a Home Team in our collage..."We"
is me,Adil,Anjani,Sai Shree,Villu,Sharan and Ambreen.Well,I actually am an odd man out there..Execpt me,all are from CSE.But...They are the best of friends you can ever find.....
Slowly came our Internals...We all were tensed and God....It was a terrible period of 4 dayz...Torture...

And then,I met some of the best friends I have ever or will ever have in my life!!! Jayashanker, whom I sweetly call "JAYA :p", the tiney winey Sneha :p and Laavanya.......The 3 Best friends I will never forget and hope will always be there in my life!! :))

Then on,the Collegez been a new experience everyday with Understandings, misunderstandings and MISSunderstandings :p,Unsuccessful projects and Fun filled group acttivities,All simply reminding me that Graduation is not just growing academically but growing as a Human....

Now its just an year and a half and am already starting to feel nostalgic about finishing up my College life.....Just hope It remains a sweet journey with all "SPECIAL" people with me forever!! ;) :))
